I haven't been keeping up with my teak platform so it looks pretty faded. You have multiple products for cleaning teak and just as many options for oil... What's the best stuff to use? For cleaning - the quicker the better. In terms of oil - whatever lasts longer and looks the best...

The best teak cleaner on the market is TE-KA from Philadelphia Resins. It is supposed to be scrubless product that is 2 part. I prefer a little scrubbing using a brass brush working with the grain. In no time you will have your teak looking like brand new wood.

The best teak oil is the Star Bright Premium Teak Oil. It has a dark, rich color. The key to any teak wood is to take a few extra minutes when cleaning the boat and apply the oil. The more often oil is applied the longer that new teak look wil stay around.
