I have a pair of 2002 Mercury 250 EFI Saltwater Series outboards. They blow excessive smoke at startup and warm up. Is there any adjustments or computer updates that can be done to these engines?

Hi Guy, your engine is automatic oil injected?If so when you keep your engine trimmed up that causes the oil to go to the heads and stay there.Try to lower your trim after you get home from a fishing trip and keep it in that position til you,re ready to go again.the oil stays in your injectors and the head until it run,s .
