gear oil leak

I'm trying to track down the source of a gear oil leak on my 1970 Evinrude 85 OB
#85093B. The oil is coming from somewhere behind the propeller, around the shaft. Does anyone have any suggestions? I removed the propeller but still cannot see where the leak originates. I assume it's a failed seal, but which one? Any help I can get is appreciated. Thanks!!!
