Anitfouling Bottom Paint Recommendations
I'm planning to bottom paint my 21' fiberglass boat for myself for the first time this year. It is my understanding that the boat shop has been using Petit Unepoxy Antifouling Paint in the previous years that I have had it painted. Should I continue to use the same paint or do you recommend that I use a different type? I generally put my boat in the water in April and leave it in until early January in Delaware. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Pettit Unepoxy will be fine been around for a while, might want. to look for a paint with an anti slime agent or a multi-season paint. Interlux Micron Extra is supposed to be one of the pest paints on the market. They have a great bottom paint guide on the website here tells you everything you need to know about the paints.

Wildcat thanks for the reply. I went a head and used the Unepoxy (prior to seeing your post). Not a fun job but it is done and on my schedule not the marine's. Thanks again.
