Getting The Shine Back

What's a good product to use to get the shine back from the sunrays fading the paint? I've seen lots of compounds, cleaners and waxes on the market but I need something thats works. Any ideas will help me.

Take a look at Poli-Glow

You might take a look at Poli-Glow. It is a product similar to acrylic floor wax that gives a high gloss shine and is tough. You have to prep (clean) well and put enough coats on (6) but it dries quickly and goes faster than you'd think. It also gives a full year+ shine. I run out of a brackish river that stains white boats badly and the areas of the hull that have poli glow applied have no stains after 5 years. Areas where I couldn't get (under the trailer bunks) are badly stained a tannin brown.

Prep is very important though because any dirt streak or black rubber scuff that you trap in the wax is sealed into the finish.

I think a lot of hard core boaters may scoff at the product, but if your'e looking for easy, relatively inexpensive, extremely low maintenance and long durability, give it a try.
