| This stuff is truly incredible. To test the strength I glued a piece of wood to piece of rusty steel.....two days later I broke the wood while twisting it at a 90 degree angle. The advertised strength is 700PSI cured strength and I believe it. I used it to seal a 16' aluminum boat...rivets and seams. NO ISSUES. This product resurrected my old boat for hopefully years to come. I have also used it to adhere wood backing blocks where I attached lights, locator, etc and am confident in its strength. You do need to clamp it and allow it to cure (12-48 hours) but once it is dried it is permanent. They also make a quick set version with slightly less strength for quick repairs. I haven't tried that version but I think it would probably be another good 3M product. |
