Quickly and easily install or move fenders when mooring. Insert fender line into lock, then insert key. Two flush-mount stainless steel mounting plates and two stainless steel keys. Fasten with two #10 screws.

I basically grew up using these on our runabouts and have never had an issue. Maybe if you are using too big of a bumper, I could see a possibility of issues, but not for a 20' boat. Bill G

Poor design, the thin metal of the base distorts over time making getting the male attachment in almost impossible!
