This submersible pump is a great way to remove unwanted water from boats, pool covers, aquariums and sump pits. Convenient and safe, too, because it needs no electrical cord – runs up to 5 hours on three alkaline D batteries. Measures 6-3/8" high x 5-1/4" diameter. Able to pump up to 200 gallons per hour while lifting water to a height of 4 feet. Includes a 42" hose with a garden-hose adapter for use with additional hose. Excellent for use as a portable pump-out device for paddle boats, inflatables and kayaks. Note: Not to be used as a permanent bilge pump.

We use this pump for our pool cover. It does the trick perfectly. I wish the hose was a little longer but other than that great little pump.
