This is "BY FAR" one of the "VERY BEST" bearing packer products on the market today. This is not a new concept, but SIERRA has taken the one GIANT STEP FORWARD that I have been waiting for. Since the 60's I have packed my bearing's by hand to assure myself that my bearing's were uniformly packed with grease. I have a bearing packer of the same nature as SIERRA'S, but it is made of plastic. For larger bearings requiring much more pressure to push the grease needed to pack them, the plastic tends to bend and I get area's that aren't packed uniformly. With the "SIERRA WHEEL BEARING PACKER" being made of METAL, I CAN USE MY "AIR OPERATED GREASE GUN" FOR LARGER BEARING'S WITHOUT ANY WORRIE'S. I get NO distortion, therefore no problem's with THE WHOLE BEARING being packed properly. if there were any change's that I could recomend for this BEARING PACKER, it would be that I would like to see a little heavier METAL BEING USED, AND THE CENTER SHAFT BEING ANCHORED INTO THE BASE PLATE. EVEN SO, I give this a "7" out of "5"!
