Yamalube 10W-30 is designed for maintaining viscosity in 4 stroke outboard engines in marine environments. NMMA FC-W certified, this oil features rust inhibitors that helps keep you moving smoothly and increasing engine life. Yamalube 4M utilizes anti-friction protection to help promote efficient fuel economy and increased performance. Additionally, this oil has the best blend of anti-foam technology available. Oil foaming reduces lubricity which can lead to engine wear and, over time, failure.
Yamalube 4M Oil is NMMA FC-W approved. Oils that earn FC-W certification have been proven to provide the performance and quality demanded by today's advanced four stroke outboard technology. These oils stand up to extended full-throttle operation, high loads, and the salt and moisture-rich air found in harsh marine environments. Before an oil can achieve NMMA Fc-W certification, it must pass a 100-hour general performance engine test as well as bench tests for viscosity, filter plugging, foaming, and aeration.
