It’s also easy to set up: You need a RS90 fixed mount VHF, the MMSI number of your buddies’ VHF DSC radios and a Simrad GPS chartplotter. Your VHF will regularly poll your buddies’ positions, and the chartplotter will regularly update their locations by MMSI number on your screen. Track-Your-Buddy is a truly great aid in locational awareness of your friends in a group boating excursion.
