Each trim tab is used to “trim” or to counteract aerodynamic forces to control and to stabilize the boat for safety and to prevent rollover and/or capsizing.
Controlled by a hydraulic power unit, much like the performance of an aileron on airplanes to lift them to higher elevations quickly, boat trim tabs move up and down via a cylinder, when activated by the boater.
