   • TIP: Make sure you keep the tape measure horizontal to the ground. Do not measure over railings or windshields. This will alter your measurements.
2. Next, you need to measure the beam width. This is the part where the boat is the widest. Same with measuring the centerline, you do not need to include any accessories that can be removed.
