Choose OptionsThe Liquid Force Wakeshaper lets you fine tune your water displacement to turn small wake big! Easy to install with the super strong suction cup attachment, requiring no tethers or hardware. All you need is a 5" x 13" flat surtface. Wake shapers work by disrupting the flow of water, opposite of the surfer, causing turbulence that diffuses the power that stream once had. The result is a surf wave with a clean, undisturbed face that is easy to surf.
With the Liquid Force Wakeshaper you don't have to settle for just any wake. It all comes down to how you distribute your boats weight (ballast) and where you place your wakeshaper. Starting with weight, to much in the back creates tall but short in length. Too much weight in the bow creates long but very small with no shape. The key to for optimal wakesurfing wake is to balance the weight between the bow and back. Now that we have your weight centered, its time to install your wakeshaper (installation instructions below). Ideally you want to place your wakeshaper 2' - 3' from the stern with 2" - 3" sticking out of the water. With that in info it's important to keep a few things in mind. First is that upon acceleration the back of your boat sinks down. Second is that your boat sits at a different angle when it is still than when pulling at wake surf speed.
Placing your Wakesurf edge forward on the boat will cause wake that is longer, more mellow and has more push. Farther back on the boat creates steeper wake that is shorter in length but with a deeper pocket.
