General Installation Steps:

• Unscrew the old filter and clean the mounting base.
• Make sure the old gasket is removed from the mounting base.
• Apply a thin coat of engine oil to the new filter gasket.
• Make sure the gasket is seated properly in the base of the filter.
• To help prevent air from entering the fuel system, fill the filter with fuel if recommended for your application.
• Screw the filter on until the gasket contacts the base, then tighten 2/3 to 1 full turn.
• Run the engine and check for leaks.

Maintenance Note: Replace this fuel filter once each season, before winterizing, every 100 hours where recommended, or according to the service interval listed in your owner’s manual.
