The 1st Mate Marine Safety and Security System Kit is an integrated safety solution for Mercury SmartCraft single-engine boats. It replaces the traditional kill switch lanyard with a wireless wearable fob and connects to an engine hub for real-time protection. If the captain goes overboard, the system automatically shuts down the engine and sends alerts through the mobile app. It also supports passenger overboard notifications with GPS location tracking and includes a theft deterrent feature to lock the engine when not in use. The kit comes complete with the vessel hub, harness, captain fob, wristband, and carabiner clip.
