The SEI SE221 is an aftermarket replacement lower unit for select Mercury Verado inline four-cylinder and inline six-cylinder four-stroke outboards. Available in multiple gear ratios and shaft lengths, these versions feature a 20-spline driveshaft, 15-spline propeller shaft, and 4.88" torpedo housing. Select the configuration that matches your existing lower unit and engine application.

Applications by Gear Ratio

• 1.75:1: Select 2.6L inline six-cylinder Verado 300 HP applications; available for 20", 25", and 30" shaft lengths
• 1.85:1: Select 2.6L inline six-cylinder Verado 200–275 HP applications; available for 20", 25", and 30" shaft lengths
• 2.08:1: Select 1.7L supercharged inline four-cylinder Verado 135–200 HP applications; available for 20" and 25" shaft lengths

Fitment Requirements

Verify the engine serial number, existing gear ratio, shaft-length designation, and gearcase type before ordering. Horsepower alone does not establish compatibility.

These versions do not fit V6 or V8 four-stroke Verado engines, non-supercharged inline four-cylinder engines, or counter-rotation applications. The SE221 does not replace Torque Master, Torque Master 2, Sport Master, or 5.44" torpedo gearcases.

Installation Information

The installation kit and anode kit are not included and must be purchased separately.
