Low permeation fuel lines are designed for one purpose: to reduce the amount of gasoline that passes through fuel handling and fuel system components as gas vapors. This process assists by reducing smog-forming emissions while decreasing fuel consumption. Another significant value to low permeation fuel lines is that they reduce the amount of gas vapors being released into the atmosphere, therefore making fuel systems safer for both boaters and our environment.
The Sierra 116-368-0560 is a 3/8" fuel line that features a plastic barrier veneer with an NBR outer layer tube to prevent permeation.
