UFlex T71FC Single Cable Rotary Steering Helm

This single cable rotary steering helm is designed for easy installation and minimal feedback. Constructed with stainless steel cable output ends and corrosion resistant materials for a long working life. The T71FC is not for use on boats where the engines equipped exceed the max horsepower rating of the boat. For boats faster than 50mph is is recommended to use a hydraulic steering system.

UFlex rotary systems utilizing a planetary gear design. The three satellite gears distributes steering feedback more evenly and effectively through the helm. This creates a reduction in the amount of effort needed to steer the boat straight or in the direction of the steering torque. The planetary gear design also spreads the wear of the steering direction changes over a wider area which reduces wear and the correspondent motion loss.
