Michigan Wheel Aluminum vs Stainless Steel Propellers
Propellers come in a couple of different materials, and both have their pros and cons. Most boats come standard with an aluminum propeller. Some advantages to an aluminum propeller are it is cheaper to purchase as well as repair. Stainless steel, however, is much more durable than aluminum props and has five times more stress tolerance than its aluminum counterpart.
When shopping for an aluminum Michigan Wheel propeller, you can choose from the Vortex or the Michigan Match series. The Vortex is available in 3 to 4 blade configurations and is manufactured with high-performance aluminum with the XHS hub system.
