The TX Slalom Ski from HO Skis is a wideride crossover ski. This ski was designed to deliver maximum performance with unparalleled efficiency. HO's design team combined high performance design with ultra-efficient Clean Edge technology in a wide-ride version for stability and less physical effort. Behind the rear foot the ski transitions from traditional to futuristic; as the sidewalls rotate inward like a wakeboard edge and ski bevels disappear in the tail section of the ski. The combination of these two features allows the water to release cleanly off the bottom of the ski, as opposed to the traditional ski design in which water wraps around the bevel of the ski...This reduces the drag associated with this portion of the ski by 50%. 

Crossover skis are a good choice for skiers who spend time on both the open water and on slalom courses. Includes FreeMax Boot. The FreeMax boot is a no nonsense ski boot. Features static lace in the lower lace zone, a footbed anchoring system and new lace management.
