Product Description

Interlux Micron Optima Bottom Paint

Micron Optima contains Micron Technology in a water-based formulation providing excellent multi-seasonal performance in the most challenging fouling conditions. Micron Optima uses Activated Biolux Technology to block slime and algae. Micron Optima is low V.O.C. and low odor and being water-based, clean-up is easy! It can be applied over other water-based products and other Microns. Use Micron Optima on power and sailboats in all waters.

What is Biolux Technology?

Biolux is an exclusive Interlux technology for keeping the bottoms of boats clean by eliminating the collection of slime. The unique Biolux delivery system incorporates organic boosting biocides with powerful anti-fouling agents such as cuprous oxide. Biolux. This system is over 240 times more effective against algae than copper. These new bottom paints therefore offer the strongest protection ever developed against the full spectrum of fouling shells, weeds and slime.

Micron Technology

  • Longest lasting, multi-season - ability to haul and re-launch without repainting
  • Its controlled polishing, like a bar of soap, reduces paint build-up, eliminating the need for sanding
  • Polishes to a smoother surface than hard antifoulings, maximizing fuel savings
  • Uses biocides more efficiently for longest lasting antifouling protection
