The Mercury-MerCruiser 8M0085693 Mercathode Kit is a genuine replacement corrosion protection kit for compatible MerCruiser stern drive applications. The anode/reference electrode unit mounts in place of the zinc anode under the gimbal housing, eliminating the need to drill holes through the transom.

This kit includes the Mercathode components needed for compatible R, MR, Alpha I, Alpha One Gen II, and Bravo drive applications where specified. The blue controller mounts inside the boat as part of the Mercathode corrosion protection system.
