Quicksilver MerCathode Kit is an active corrosion protection system designed to help protect high-horsepower outboard engines and drives from galvanic corrosion, especially for boats that are stored in the water. Powered by the boat’s 12-volt battery system, the MerCathode system continuously emits a controlled corrosion-blocking current to help protect underwater metal components.
