This SeaStar control cable is designed for use with Mercury Gen II steering systems from 2003 to the present and is a replacement for the OEM 4000 series.  Ridges on the core allow a close fit with the cable's inner liner, but minimum contact, so the core glides back and forth smoothly like a skater on ice. The result is a control cable with easy movement AND minimum lost motion.

Direct replacement for Teleflex Marine CCX189 series original factory control cables. SeaStar Solutions replaced Teleflex Marine and has been acquired by Dometic Group.

Application:

• Mariner, Mercury, Mercruiser and other engines using Mercury 2003-Date 4000 series controls.
• Replaces Mercury Gen II type cables
