How do you apply Evercoat Gel-Kote One Step Finish Gel Coat?
Remove paint, grease, oil, dirt, and wax, then sand the affected area with a coarse-grit abrasive and clean it with Evercoat Acetone. Add the specified amount of hardener, mix thoroughly for 2-3 minutes, and apply the catalyzed Gel-Kote to approximately 20 mils thickness.
What is the mixing ratio for Evercoat One Step Finish Gel-Kote?
Add 12 drops of hardener to each 1 ounce of Evercoat Gel-Kote. Mix the components thoroughly for 2-3 minutes before application. The mixed product begins to gel in approximately 15 minutes. Temperatures above 90°F shorten the gel time, while temperatures below 70°F lengthen it.
Can Evercoat Gel-Kote One Step Finish Gel Coat be tinted or sprayed?
