Quicksilver 8M0082880 Drain Plug Seal

Gear case seal (washer) kit 8M0082880 is for use on select 5hp Mercury propane fueled outboards (serial No. 0R936270 and above), 8/9.9hp 4-stroke outboards (serial No. 0R008146 and above), 15-20hp Mercury EFI 4-stroke and Mercury SeaPro (serial No. 0R833820 and above) outboards. This seal/washer is blue in color. Replace when changing gear lube or when the existing seal/washer shows signs of wear or damage. The seal/washer must be in place to keep gear lube in and water out of the gear case. Use only Mercury/Quicksilver gear lube in your Mercury outboards. See your owner's manual or service manual for more information.

Application: 

Fits the metric gearcase drain screw found on Mercury/Mariner outboards F2.5/3.5 hp. (MY 2006 and newer), F4/5/6 hp. (MY 2002 and newer), F8/9.9 hp. (MY 2005 and newer), F15/20 hp. (351cc, MY 2008 and newer) and the F25/30 hp. (EFI,    MY 2006 and newer).

• This seal/washer is blue in color
• Replace when changing gear lube or when the existing seal/washer shows signs of wear or damage
• Use only Mercury/Quicksilver gear lube in your Mercury outboards
