The SEI SE128 Lower Unit is an aftermarket replacement for compatible MerCruiser Bravo Three sterndrives in applications up to 425 horsepower. Four lower-unit configurations cover the complete drive ratios listed below. Choose the version that matches your existing drive ratio, lower-unit gearing, and upper-unit configuration.

Lower Unit Selection

• For 1.36:1 or 1.50:1 complete drives: SEI 90-128-02AA; 15/19 tooth count; replaces OE 1656-8866A37
• For 1.65:1 complete drives: SEI 90-128-02BA; 18/25 tooth count; replaces OE 1656-8866A36
• For 1.81:1, 2.00:1, or 2.20:1 complete drives: SEI 90-128-02CA; 16/27 tooth count; replaces OE 1656-8866A35
• For 2.43:1 complete drives: SEI 90-128-02DA; 13/24 tooth count; replaces OE 1656-8866A51

The ratios above identify compatible complete-drive applications, not the lower unit's standalone gear ratio. The correct lower unit must be paired with the appropriate upper unit.

Fitment Requirements

Your upper unit must have the matching front oil passage. SEI indicates that 1992-and-newer applications should have the compatible passage, but it must be verified before installation.

Confirm your drive serial number, existing ratio, lower-unit gearing, and replacement part number before ordering. Not a replacement for Bravo X, XR, or XZ drives.

Installation Information

This listing is for the lower unit only. The installation kit and anode kit are not included and must be purchased separately.
