The SEI SE228 is an aftermarket replacement lower unit for select Mercury Verado inline four-cylinder and inline six-cylinder four-stroke outboards requiring counter rotation. These versions feature a 20-spline driveshaft, 15-spline propeller shaft, and 4.88" torpedo housing. Choose the gear ratio and shaft-length combination that matches your existing lower unit and engine application.

• 1.85:1: Select 2.6L inline six-cylinder Verado 200–275 HP applications; available for 30" shaft lengths
• 2.08:1: Select 1.7L supercharged inline four-cylinder Verado 135–200 HP applications; available for 25" shaft lengths
