How to Install Sierra 18-3832 Head Gaskets:

• Clean mating surface of old gasket and any foreign material.
• Check head and block for warpage and distortion. Place a straightedge lengthwise on the surface and slide a feeler gauge between the surface and the straightedge. The surface should not be more than .003" out-of-flat.
• Install the gasket with the silicone seal facing the block.
• Follow the manufacturer's specifications for torque sequence and torque values.
