The Whitecap Hatch Springs features a stainless steel spring that snaps into a straight, rigid position to support a opened hatch. To close the hatch simply bump the spring to allow it to bend and rotate at the mounting positions. The S-217C 10" long and S-218C 11-3/4" long feature an internal cable to prevent the spring from overextending and warping.
