The reversible ratchet allows the operator to crank the cable or strap onto the winch drum in either direction. The 20' L x 2" W polyester strap and snap hook can handle loads up to 1,900 lbs. The base features a powder coated texture finish with a zinc plate to protect the inner winch mechanisms. The reel and hardware are zinc plated with a TUFFPLATE finish for extreme durability in harsh marine environments.
Built to last, the laminated high carbon steel gears are heat treated for increased strength. Completely maintenance free thanks to the permanently lubricated drive shaft bearings. The welded reel features rigid construction with copper brazed drive shaft gears. The gear ratios are load matched to allow for easier cranking. When the ratchet pawl is disengages this trailer winch will freewheel. The slotted mounting holes allow for quick and easy installation.
