OEM direct-replacement type cables are designed to fit Johnson and Evinrude engine control heads which use a proprietary control connection. This cable does NOT come with connection ends.   These cables replaces Johnson/Evinrude 400 type cables.  

Direct replacement for Teleflex Marine CC170 series original factory control cables. SeaStar Solutions replaced Teleflex Marine and has been acquired by Dometic Group.

Applications:

• OMC / Johnson / Evinrude Pre-1979 with BRP/OMC controls.
• Replaces 400 Type cables.

Features:

• Drop-in replacement cables are engineered as replacements for original equipment cables.
• Cables use the existing connection components.
• Stainless steel and brass fittings.
• Standard cables use stainless steel Lubri-Core core wire for smooth operation and long life.
• 8" minimum bend radius.
• Black HDPE outer casing for durability and best resistance to UV and chemicals.

This cable does NOT come with the connection ends.  The purchase of the 400 Type connection kit (Item TEL-CA27208P.1) may be required.
