Constructed of Mercury's revolutionary new X7 alloy allows for a 30% strength increase and 4 times the durability of conventional steel. These high quality USA made props feature advanced engineering that are created and completed in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. The Performance Vent System allows you to vary the exhaust hole size to help eliminate a sluggish performance or to compensate for changes in load altitude.

Specifications:
The hub kit is sold separately. Mercury stopped including hub kits with their stainless steel propellers so you can select the right one for your specific engine. The Fury uses a Flo-Torq II hub system; which kit you need depends on your engine's prop shaft size (1.00" or 1.25"). You can count the splines on your prop shaft: 15 splines means a 1.00" shaft; 19 splines means a 1.25" shaft requiring the Flo-Torq SSR HD kit. Wholesale Marine sells Mercury Flo-Torq hub kits alongside this prop.
The first number (14) is the blade diameter in inches; the second (24) is the pitch, the theoretical distance the prop moves forward in one full rotation. As a general rule, each inch of pitch change affects engine RPM by roughly 150–200 RPM. You want to select a pitch that lets your engine reach its manufacturer-recommended WOT RPM range under a typical load. If your engine is over-revving, go up in pitch; if it's struggling to reach WOT, drop down.
The Fury is recommended for Mercury outboards 200 HP and above, and is a strong fit for the Mercury Pro XS in particular. It's compatible with a range of Mercury 4-stroke outboards from 90–115 HP Command Thrust up through 400 HP, with the correct Flo-Torq hub kit for each application. It is not compatible with a standard 90–115 HP gearcase, only the Command Thrust version.
The 3-blade Fury is optimized for top-end speed and hole shot on lighter, performance-oriented bass, bay, and flats boats. The Fury 4 adds a fourth blade for better mid-range grip, more consistent performance under heavier loads, and steadier handling in rough water or tight turns. If you're running a light tournament rig and prioritizing speed, the 3-blade Fury is the choice; if you're carrying heavier loads or fishing rougher water, the Fury 4 is worth considering.
The PVS is a 3-hole exhaust venting system built into the prop hub that lets you tune performance by adjusting how much exhaust is routed through the propeller. Opening more holes reduces bow-down drag and improves hole shot; closing holes down increases grip and top-end bite. It's particularly useful for dialing in performance as load, altitude, or sea conditions change, without swapping props.
Mercury's X7 alloy is a proprietary material that delivers 30% greater strength and four times the durability of conventional stainless steel. That extra strength allows Mercury to engineer the Fury with a higher rake and reduced diameter, a design profile that simply isn't feasible in standard stainless, which is what gives the prop its aggressive acceleration and top-speed characteristics.
Yes. Mercury Marine covers all Mercury propellers with a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
