How Much Pettit HRT Premium Do I Need for My Boat?

Pettit Premium HRT Application Chart

    1. Calculate the square footage of the hull to be painted - multiply the length of the hull by the beam then multiply that total by .85
    2. Divide that number (your square foot total) by the amount of coverage Odyssey HD provides. (500 square foot per gallon). This will give you a one-coat total.

How to Apply Pettit HRT Premium Bottom Paint

Pettit HRT Premium is easily applied by brush, roller, or spray. When rolling, use only a high-quality short nap roller cover. Apply using thin coats. For the smoothest possible finish, thin the paint approximately 5-10% using 120 Brushing Thinner. Pettit HRT Premium has a tendency for settling to occur, especially if the paint has been on the shelf for several months. Thoroughly mix the paint before using. Before using, check the sides and bottom of the can to make sure all the pigment has been mixed in.
