The Sierra 18-7944 Fuel Water Separator Filter is designed for use with Mercury and MerCruiser engines to help remove water and contaminants from gasoline before they reach the fuel system.
This filter removes over 99.8% of emulsified water from gasoline. Its 10 micron media is over 90% efficient at removing particles as small as 10 microns.
The Sierra 18-7944 is a replacement fuel water separator filter for select Mercury Marine and MerCruiser engines. It is recommended for sensitive inboard and outboard fuel injection systems.
This is a short filter measuring 3.875" or 98.4 mm in length. It has a 10 micron rating for fuel injection engines and uses an 11/16-16 thread pitch.
