Sierra 18-7945 10 Micron Fuel Water Separator Filter

The Sierra 18-7945 is a 10-micron fuel water separator filter that removes 99.8% of emulsified water from gasoline while maintaining 90 GPH flow rate. This long filter measures 4.35 inches with 11/16-16 thread pitch and works with Honda, MerCruiser, Mercury Marine, and Yamaha engines. It's particularly effective for boats running ethanol-blended fuels, which absorb more water and loosen more particulates than regular gasoline. The filter meets ISO, SAE, and JIS standards and serves as a direct OEM replacement. Replace every 50 hours or annually during winterization for optimal engine protection.

Sierra recommends replacing your filters every 50 hours of operation or at a minimum of once per year, preferably at winterization. 10-Micron filters are your number one defense against problems caused by ethanol fuels.
