Stingray Hydrofoil Stabilizer fins are inexpensive yet highly effective in checking roll in fishing boats, high performance boats, runabouts, aluminum boats, cruisers, inflatable boats, pontoon boats, and ski boats. The Stingray is a fixed fin stabilizer. Along with bilge keels fixed fins do not move; they reduce roll by hydrodynamic drag exerted when the ship rolls. Stabilizers are mostly used on ocean-going (blue Water) ships.The stabilizer fin is intended for outboards and sterndrives 40 HP and up and works most efficiently at higher velocities.
