This oil changer uses a self-contained, 12 volt electric rotary oil pump that has a magnetic base to hold it in place, making it easier than ever to change the oil in your boat and eliminating the need the crawl under the engine. The pickup hose conveniently slides through the dipstick tube into the oil pan to pump the oil out, making this portable marine oil changer an ideal choice.

How to Use CE Smith 12V Portable Oil Changer

1. Run engine 5 minutes to warm oil for easy pumping.
2. Shut off the engine.
3. Remove covers from pump inlet and outlet.
4. Using only your fingers, attach the larger tube to the OUT side, and the smaller tube to the IN side.
5. Insert the small IN tube into the oil dip stick until you feel it hit the bottom of the pan.
6. Place the larger OUT tube in a container large enough to hold all the oil in the engine.
7. Connect the battery clips - Red to battery (+), Black to battery (-)
8. Turn switch ON and pump out the oil. Run pump no more than 5 minutes. 
• If more time is needed, allow pump to cool for 15 minutes before running again.
9. Turn off when pump stops pumping oil. Damage may occur if pump runs dry.
10. Tip the pump and drain any oil remaining in pump & tubes.
